The design studio
The studio is an Australian small business, based in Sydney, operating since 1999, and independently owned by James Armstrong.
James leads every project with occasional specialised technical skills, or additional capacity, being provided by trusted collaborators.
Consumer- and industry-facing projects have been successfully designed for the corporate regulator, Australian Securities and Investments Commission (for 6 years), and the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (for 8 years), and corporate/employee communications and advertising for Qantas Airways (over 7 years). Other client working relationships extend over 10 years.
Company founder, James Armstrong, is a senior creative with 28 years’ experience in graphic design and advertising.
His creative skills have been recognised by industry peers with 23 design and advertising awards. Clients are happy too.
James is a Member of the Design Institute of Australia (Australia’s peak industry body for professional design) and a Professional Member of the Australian Graphic Design Association (Australia’s largest representative association of professional communication designers).
